Olga Vazquez is responsible for managing the symphony operations, including seasonal concerts and education and outreach initiatives. Olga works closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Music Director, and Orchestra Contractor to plan, organize, and successfully execute symphony programs and events. Olga holds Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Music Business from the University of Miami (with a minor in Business Administration) and a Ph.D. in Education from Florida Atlantic University. Olga’s work has included all aspects of arts management including positions with Florida Grand Opera, Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, The Harid Conservatory (Music & Dance Divisions), Palm Beach County School of the Arts, and the Lynn University Conservatory of Music. Her more recent work in curriculum design and program evaluation specifically focused on arts education programing, especially projects in music integration. Olga is a prize-winning pianist, accompanist, and bass-clarinetist. She spent several years as a liturgical musician, directing and accompanying church choirs in Palm Beach and Broward Counties and continues to serve her church community in various capacities.
