About the Program

In the wake of public health announcements and advisories regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), Palm Beach Symphony has canceled all concerts, social events, education programs, and community outreach until May 31.

We understand the disappointment and inconvenience to our patrons and are pleased to credit tickets for canceled ticketed events and apply the value to any future concert, including those in our 2020-2021 season. Ticket holders may also choose to make a tax-deductible donation of the value of the tickets to support the Symphony and its many educational and outreach programs.

Concert Highlights

  • In 1975, after his freshman year at Oberlin College and Conservatory, composer Richard Danielpour debuted as a recitalist at the Norton Gallery of Art, which is now known as the Norton Museum of Art, the location of our chamber music series.
  • Danielpour's String Quartet was inspired by the works of Beethoven and Mendelssohn that are featured on this program.
