February 25, 2019

Anna Brumbaugh is principal clarinet of Palm Beach Symphony and Florida Grand Opera. She has performed professionally with American Ballet Theatre Orchestra, The Orchestra of St. Luke’s, The Colorado Music Festival Orchestra, The New York Concerti Sinfonietta, and the Boca Symphonia, and she’s collaborated with the Eastman Wind Ensemble to record the Stravinsky Octet for their latest CD.

Brumbaugh mentored students at Juilliard’s pre-college division and taught at two of their educational outreach programs. She is a music mentor at Plumosa School of the Arts in Delray Beach.

She earned a Master of Music degree in clarinet performance from the Juilliard School, a Bachelor of Music with high distinction and the coveted Performer’s Certificate from the Eastman School of Music.

She is currently pursuing her Professional Performance Certificate at Lynn University. Brumbaugh’s teachers have included Jon Manasse, internationally acclaimed soloist, and Bil Jackson, former principal clarinet of the Colorado Symphony.

On February 27, 2019, Brumbaugh will perform in a clarinet quintet along with Palm Beach Symphony principal musicians, Evija Ozolins, Valentin Mansurov, Chauncey Patterson, and Claudio Jaffé in VIENNESE DREAMS 2, which features the late masterworks of Mozart and Brahms.
