Palm Beach Symphony presents
A TV Guide to the Orchestra

In collaboration with Young Artists from the Goldner Conservatory at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre

Program Includes:
The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra, Op. 34: Variations and Fugue on a Theme of Purcell by Benjamin Britten (1913-1976) and other familiar classical works "as heard on TV"

Experience the thrilling world of classical music in a fresh, interactive way! In this vibrant performance of The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra by Benjamin Britten, four young actors dramatize the journey through the orchestra—making each instrument come alive on stage. The magic continues with familiar classical favorites “as heard on TV” and engaging programmatic music. Interactive dialogue invites students to connect directly with the performers, turning the concert into a fun, educational adventure. This engaging production blends music, storytelling, and audience participation to spark a lifelong love of the arts.

The S*T*A*R Series Teacher Ticket On Sale Day is Saturday, August 23 at 11 am. Tickets may be requested online by visiting this link here.

Tickets are $5 per person
Palm Beach County public school students enrolled in the Federal Free/Reduced Lunch Program receive an Admission Waiver.  If the performance is Sold Out, teachers may request to be waitlisted for the event.  One chaperone is recommended for every 10 students and is admitted free.  
Tickets sold are general admission.  There are no seat assignments.

Young Artists from the Goldner Conservatory at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre

Lily Diaz

Lily is an ardent fan of the Performing Arts. She has been with the Maltz Goldner Conservatory for a few years and has featured in leading roles in the Junior Broadway shows including the role of "Nemo" in "Finding Nemo" and "Jasper" in "The 101 Dalmatians". Lily has also enjoyed expanding her horizons with the Conservatory's Movement and Song program. In addition, Lily has performed in many of her school's annual Variety shows encompassing various aspects of the performing arts- singing, dancing, and acting. In her free time Lily loves Art, Science, and Exploring new places with her family!

Mack Fernandez

Mack Fernandez is an 18 year old freshman attending the University of Florida, where he is studying Business Administration and Digital Media Production. Some of his hobbies include martial arts and musical theater. He has performed all over the Palm Beach area and been in several shows at the Goldner Conservatory. He is very grateful for the opportunity to work with the Maltz Jupiter Theatre and Palm Beach Symphony on The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra!

Raina Moore

Raina Moore is a 13-year-old actress from West Palm Beach, Florida, with a lifelong love for theatre. She has been involved in acting since a young age and currently attends Bak Middle School of the Arts, where she continues to grow as a performer. With each new role she takes on, she strives to learn, improve, and bring characters to life. Theatre is not just a hobby for Raina, it’s a true passion.
